Amy Winehouse seems to think that Bono’s a bit shit, judging by this report on spinner.com:
Winehouse recounted a meeting with the newly knighted singer and labelmate at a recent awards ceremony, where she refused to stand — or allow her father to stand — during an ovation for U2. The firecracker singer mumbled “shut up” throughout Bono’s acceptance speech, and when he later introduced himself, saying it was “lovely to meet you,” all Winehouse could muster was a cool kiss-off of “Thank you for funding my albums. Bye.”
I also liked this quote from the Observer:
‘Shut up! I don’t give a fuck!’

Who gives a bloody hell what that blown out cum dumpster thinks of anything? Does her brain even function at this point? Or is her hate of Paul Hewson more like an instinct? Regardless, Paul Hewson is a bit of a pompous ass, as are many musicians (see Michael Stipe), but if I only listened to music made by those I agree with politically, it’d be a pretty short list. Though Amy Winehouse is basically talentless, & is famous ’cause she gets pissed & coked-up all the time & is a dirty little jizz-bucket as well, i’m glad she wouldn’t stand up for his holiness the po………erm………i mean bono & the rest of those pig-fuckers & i’m glad it was reported in a national mainstream paper that she doesn’t give a fuck about what boner has to say.
